Hi All,
Reaching out midweek with a suggested challenge for the month of August, and I’m curious if we’ll get any takers:
And that is that for the next few weeks, I’m encouraging stepping away from anything with a focus that revolves around self improvement.
This means putting down the books, tuning out the development-based podcasts, and ultimately muting anything that exists with the primary goal of making you “better.”
(Oh, and I’m fully aware that Lighten Up might fall on this list).
BUT – in addition to stepping away from all this content and activity, the 2nd part of the challenge involves spending any newly found free time doing things you enjoy.
And these need not be elaborate endeavors.
The only prerequisite is to insert a little comfort into your life.
(Imagine that).
Because if there was ever a month to just be, my friends, August is it.
You can pick your pursuit to evolve back up in September (and lo and behold, we’ll be talking about that).
Consider it an experiment in learning who you are without all you do.
Oh, and no coincidence that we’ll be discussing that too in the upcoming weeks.
Stay tuned.
